sliznyak2's Full Review: Canon Elph2 APS Film Camera
Those of you out there who prefer Advanced Photo System photography over the traditional 35mm cameras and optics should like this new great Elph 2, Canon's newest APS camera that is so similar to the first Elph but still so much better and with improved features. If you liked the first Elph, you will like this: same rugged stainless steel body, same reliability, same power. First time Elph came out it was innovative and great but guess what? It could still be improved!
Elph 2 is smaller than the previous one but don't mix its small size with being fragile like it is on tiny 35mm cameras. This Elph is as rugged as any SLR. It is very easy to use with easy and smart layed out buttons and controls. I especially like a 2x 23-46mm zoom lens. Other features include red-eye reduction, built-in flash which is amazingly bright although it doesn't pop-up. 3 picture format, drop-in loading and size that easily fits into a pocket makes it just unbelievably easy to use. Features are all automatic but lack variety than 35mm cameras.
I recommend it to anyone who likes the idea of having a tiny camera that fits anywhere. And with revolutionary APS that some prefer over older 35mm Elph is one of the best choices in Advanced Photo System. Keep in mind that when you look into 35mm cameras they will offer you more than this Elph 2.
