| britbird's Full Review: FUJIFILM Endeavor 1010ix MRC Tiara APS Film Camera |
This is the typical response I get when I bring out my Fuji Tiara. It's tiny. But one gentle pull allows the flash to rise and the lens to extend and you have a fully capable APS camera for those classic holiday shots.
It's the first APS camera I have owned and I will admit that my main reason was the size. I've spent too many years lugging round a housebrick-sized 35mm camera!
I didn't want to go as far as buying a zoom lens camera (I'm more of a holiday snapshot photographer) so this seemed like the ideal one to buy.
It has all the usual APS features, 3 photo formats, red eye flash, no flash, booster flash, anti-glare/reflection flash etc, etc.
My only complaint would be that there is a knack to changing the formats - you have to press in exactly the right place on the 'pressure pad' button on the back of the unit.
Film and battery changing is very easy and quick. It even allows you to swap films mid-roll.
Best of all is that once closed, the lens is completely protected - so no need for a separate zipper case.
Results in good quality photos and has an instruction manual the size of a phone directory!
