When we first received this camera free from a mail in offer, I thought that it would at least give me pictures that were in focus! Although I didn't expect the color to be good, or the range to be well, I did think that at least they would be in focus. Nope, after about the fourth or fifth roll of film this camera started getting real fuzzy.
I had it cleaned by a professional and I made sure that I kept the kids away from it. I also changed the batteries thinking that maybe the batteries were getting low and maybe slowing the shutter down causing it to blur.
No matter what I did it still produced really fuzzy pictures. The outside of the photos would be nice and crisp but the center would be extremely abstract! That kind of defeats the purpose of photography though if you can't put the subject in the middle of the frame.
The good thing though is, when we first got it, it produced some of the most spectacular photos I have ever seen. The colors were vibrant, the focus was sharp, and hardly any red-eye was produced. So it was at least worth the shipping and handling that we paid. That is why I went to the trouble of having it cleaned. I loved the photos that it first produced!
Well, all in all, if you are looking for a camera at the spur of the moment this isn't the one you want. You want something that is going to be worth spending the normal, $65.00 for. It isn't reliable and you would have to buy a new camera within the next year! So although it has great potential, and starts out wonderfully, I think you will be severely disappointed with this camera if you actually pay full price for it.
