My Nikon Lite Touch model is the Zoom 80 AF, but it seems to have the same features as described for the 110 model. I've owned this camera for almost 2 years, and I love it.
We bought the camera somewhat on a whim, while on vacation in the Eastern states. A shopping pilgrimage took us to the tax-free wonderland of Delaware, and we stopped in at a Target store to check out the cameras. I'd done a little on-line comparison of a few brands and models, but didn't go in the store planning to buy a specific model. I wanted these features: automatic film load, auto rewind, and zoom capability.
The Nikon Lite Touch Zoom 80 AF has these features, and I can't imagine how I ever lived without them before. My previous 35mm camera was a freebie from a credit card company; it had absolutely no special features, and I had to manually load the film by turning a small part, and do the same for rewinding the film at the end of a roll. The picture quality was very poor, and after we had our first child, picture taking suddenly became very important. The Nikon model was priced at about $120 at this Target store, and while there were other brands and models with the same features in the same price range, I went with the Nikon because of the Nikon reputation.
I have never regretted this purchase. This camera is so easy to use, and the picture quality is very good. Some other features include red eye reduction and the option of setting the flash on different settings, like Auto Flash, which is good for lighting in which you are unsure whether or not you need flash-the flash will automatically go off in lower lighting. I think this model also has a panoramic photo option, but so far I have not used this. The zoom lens has 4 levels.
The only "problem" I have had with this camera is occasionally the flash is not ready when I want/need it. I sometimes must turn the camera on and off once or twice in order to get the flash ready indicator to be on. This has been only a minor annoyance to an otherwise wonderful relationship with my camera!
I highly recommend that anyone looking for an easy to use 35mm camera with automatic features and zoom lens (particularly a camera novice, like me) look into the Nikon LIte Touch line.
