| sobolik's Full Review: Kyocera FX-3 Super 2000 Film Camera |
I am very bored photographically lately. But I cannot venture into the realm of the computerized cameras and abandon my old faithful manuals. They have survived so long while many electronic gizzmos have entered the land fills. I cannot stress that as a consideration enough, but I also recognize that some people like that for some reason. I guess they like imposed variety. But I just can't see it. I am reluctantly revamping my arsenal and going to Nikon Fm2N/Fm3A due to fear of the 35mm being wrongly shunned by the computer addiction of our age. And due to more lenses to choose from. But The Yashica FX-3 and super 2000 (I own both) are every bit as capable and treasured. I will pass them down to my daughters while I satisfy my photographic boredom. I dropped the FX-3 Super with a 28-200 Kiron lens attached. The 2 went different directions. the lens took a part of the camera along for the ride as well. I reassembled and glued where needed. (I bought a Super 2000 while repairing) It has performed as such for 15 plus years. I would say it is a good camera. I recommend it as a low price camera. Manual reliability and if you have the talent, very repairable if dropped.
