| jtlipps's Full Review: Konica Minolta Maxxum 600si Film Camera |
This camera is great for anyone looking for a camera that is forgiving. I owned a Canon AE-1 for years and when I went to replace it I wanted a camera that would allow me to let it do all the work or allow me the choice to take control. I had never really gotten good results with the Cannon through no fault of it I'm sure. A friend recommended the Minolta and this is the one that I selected.
I have never been disappointed. With a little familiarization with the controls it easy to take great pictures with no effort. I never wanted to be a professional photographer and this camera makes it possible for me not to have to know a f-stop from an aperture setting and yet I still get great results.
The controls are user friendly and loading film or changing lenses could not be easier. If you want a great camera for an amateur this is the one.
