flash_chicago's Full Review: Nikon N60 Film Camera
The N60 was given to me as a going away gift when changing to a job that would have me travelling extensively. What a camera!
I have always been a 35 SLR fan, but many of the cameras with the features I wanted were to bulky for extensive travel. The N60 is lightweight, large enough for big hands, but small enough to travel. I've never had a photo image of this quality for the price.
Be careful of the built in flash unit. It is sensitive and must be fully opened to work. If you wear a baseball or other brim cap, it is often enough to push the flash unit down to a point where it won't activate.
The camera is easy to use, particularly in "auto" point and shoot mode. It gets a bit more tricky when using some of the manual settings, or when placing it in a specific auto mode (i.e. movement, etc.). If you're willing to read and learn, this camera is just about all you'll ever need. If you don't want to read, set it on auto and get ready for some fantastic point and shoot shots!
