| caraudiofreak's Full Review: Pioneer TS-W253C Car Subwoofer |
Pioneer makes really good car audio these subs are a good example. They are cheap (if you go to the right places) and add to your stereo an amazing 'boom' for your buck. You also don't have to go out and get a big amp to make them preform well. They say 400 watts ( and if I'm wrong it's because i sold it a while ago) but 200 to 250 watts makes them sound really good without draining your wallet. The excursion on them is of a normal sub not to outstanding. The DB level on them is reasonable. And for all you people with small cars looking for ultimate sound they fit perfect in a small sealed enclosure. But for a normal sized car i would recommend having 2 10's in a sealed enclosure for maximum sound. Another positive aspect of these subs is they have no cone just a nice solid speaker so you don't have to worry about the cone popping off and getting bad fuzzy sounds if that does happen. All and all these are good subs for someone on a budget and looking for a nice clean hitting sub.
