Good entry-level receiver

Pros: Lots of power, well design.

This is an excellent amplifier for listening to music. It doesn't have Dolby surround, only stereo. The controls are well-placed and easy to use. This receiver has plenty of inputs, but some of them seem to require a different input level. Maybe I need to reread the manual. The remote is similarly well-designed, but sometimes various buttons stop responding. Hitting Power a few times seems to reset it. All in all, this is an excellent receiver for stereo sound. It pumps plenty of power through whatever speakers you attach to it. It is fairly short depth-wise, so it can fit almost anywhere. Recommended for the audio buff.
