pretty much the only reason i bought the receiver was because my cousin was selling it real cheap to me and because of sonys name.this receiver has many pluggins for all your component stereo pieces like a minidsc player a tape player a cd player vhs or even a dvd player. on my receiver i have my minidisc player plugged in also made by sony my pioneer dvd player my sony tape deck and my technincs turntable.if you do buy this product you must have a nice speaker system for this to power. you should have a center channel speaker your rear surround speakers and of course your mains this receiver also has a subwoofer output for deep down bass. the only kind of people that should buy this product are really electronics freaks who love to toy and listen to dolby digital sound
