I've only had it a few weeks. Sounds great to me. I've watched The Wedding Singer, The Negotiator, Lethal Weapon 4, Swingers, Bug's Life and Monty Python's The Holy Grail on DVD. Additionally, I've watched a few shows (including the Primetime Emmys) using my analog cable with my receiver (Marantz SR-7000) forced to Dolby Surround.
I've previously had a Pioneer center speaker but I needed something better to go with my new receiver. It is by far a much better listening experience than my old Pioneer. I could barely hear my center channel before, but my Aegis seems to fill the audio gap perfectly.
I picked it primarily because I was very happy with AE Aegis Three's for my L/R and this was the matching center. It blends pretty seemlessly with the L/R ch's. The sound quality is good without being strained, distorted or tinny.
Aside from generally being aware of how much better everything sounds, I wasn't distracted from the video because of any features of the audio.
