| ccn158's Full Review: Denon D-M3 Shelf System |
I own a Denon D-M3 after falling in love with it's very sleek, gorgeous looks. And the sound ain't bad either!
But seriously, for such a small machine, this really packs out a lot of power. 2 X 20W doesn't sound a lot, but for the bedroom or office, it's more than enough. Too many Hi-fi's these days emphasise the amount of power as a main selling point.
And what many don't realise is that it's not HOW much power you have, but HOW you use it.
And that's where the D-M3 picks up it's points. A superb crisp sound comes from this system, thanks to the four-mode graphical equaliser (Rock, Pop, Classical and Flat - for those of you interested.)
And if that doesn't impress you, you'll love the speakers. They are the perfect colour and a lot stronger than they look. Forget cheap 'chipboard' on inferior systems, this is real, mans wood, which only helps the sound quality as there's no distortion.
Everything's great - even the remote control - whose great one-touch system will provide hours of entertainment.
