I've had this system for a while now and have had no problems so far. The power that this system delivers is incredible! I usually listen to it at volume 10 and it goes up to 50! Sometimes I'll face the speakers out the open window and crank up the volume so I can hear the radio outside. I can all over my yard and still hear it!
The remote of this unit is very easy to use and it has all the functions that you need. The unit has a timer so you can set it do turn on in the morning to wake you up. It also has a sleep timer that will turn the unit off after a certain amount of time. The radio has lots of presets, I'm not sure exactly how many, i think i only use seven. The radio sounds good and it is easy to tune through stations. The cd player sounds very nice and is also easy to use. I haven't really used the tape player much so I can't tell you about that.
Overall this is a great unit. Great sound, very powerful. Aiwa is a great company.
