This VCR combines all the features you'd ever want in a VCR. Along with the 4-head and HIFI features, it also has a back-lit, universal remote, front A/V inputs, and VCR PLUS+. The picture reproduction and audio reproduction are great, and the unit is economically priced. The menus are easily navigated and programming both channels and recording times is very intuitive. With Panasonic, you're backed by a very reliable company and a very reliable product. When comparing VCR's, there are a few things to keep in mind. First, foremost, and probably most obvious is price. Be mindful of the price, because they can escalate, and sometimes needlessly. Next, you should keep in mind the features you are paying for. Are you actually going to use these features? If not, don't buy it! You'll find a model that suits all the options you want, without the needless options you'll have to pay for. The PV-9451 does a great job in offering all the features you'd want, with nothing extra, at an economical price.
