| SpeedSailor's Full Review: Panasonic PV-9451 VHS VCR |
We have the PV-9451 set up as another home theater in another part of our home. It is hooked up to a Technics SA-G76 receiver and a host of Technics speakers. Picture is through a Sony 27" tv. The picture quality this vcr gives is nearly as good as my PV-9662! I have absolutely no complaints about this vcr regarding how it functions. It is ruggedly durable, can withstand several unintended impacts (I have young children, so this is important as toys get thrown around and hit things..) and overall is intuitive to use and operate. It has, like other similar Panasonic hifi vcrs, simply an awesome rewind feature. You wouldn't go wrong getting this unit, especially since the prices have come way down on them.
My only wish is that it were component width, but that is nitpicking. Some people also don't like the tower style remote - I happen to like it. It makes it easier to find the blasted thing! And hey, if you don't like the tower style, you can always lie the rascal on its side, no big deal.
