Cons: Very little use of it, expensive

I bought this VCR for over 1 year and I only used it few times. Now with most movie avaliable on DVD and the invention of harddrive computer recorder (TiVo), VCR is not as useful as it was before. This JVC s-VHS VCR does have many extra editing functions. Indeed the picture is better than the previous VCR, but the price is almost 3 times as much as the ordinary VCR. I am not sure if it is justify to spend $400 on a VCR. Instead, if want digital quality that is recordable, I will recommend TiVo or replay TV which costs just as much as this model.
