Aspire customer service

Pros: This company listened to their customers and made real improvements. They established a REAL website.
Cons: The 1st level customer service personnel's English are not too good; don't allow balance transfers.
The Bottom Line: Recommended. After establishing their new website, the card is more user friendly and compares well with most other cards. Remaining cons are customer service reps and can't transfer balances.

Maybe others can profit from my experience with Aspire customer service. I have experience working in customer service myself, and the first thing I do, and I have done it before with Aspire, if I have trouble with a foreign agent not understanding what I want, or saying that they cannot help me, is ask for a supervisor. They have to transfer you to a supervisor, and usually, you will finally get an American, and someone who can help you.
Recently, the foreign agent told me flat out what I wanted could not be done, and when I called back later, and immediately asked for a supervisor, they were able to do what I wanted immediately. This is NOT a user-friendly card--your can not view transactions on line and have to pay a fee to pay on line. Also you cannot transfer balances.
You can check your purchases, balances, etc. over the telephone with an agent who is usually very helpful, or with the automatic service. Otherwise you have to wait until you receive your paper bill. This is fine if there are no problems, but if if your card has been used fraudulently, your options with this card compare poorly with every other card I carry.
**UPDATE**
After writing my previous review, I found that Aspire has now set up a very good website, providing similar on line services now to other credit cards. It is easy to navigate and you can review your expenditures on line and make on line payments. The remaining con is that this card does not allow you to transfer balances.
They listened to their customers!!! Kudos to Aspire!
