TCF Bank SUCKS!!!

Pros: there's unfortunately enough branches to constitute proximity

Cons: nickel & dime you to death

Free checking my a**. The checking is free, but everything you need to use it costs you EXTRA. They charged me to make an address change ($2), they charged me ATM fees ON TOP of regular ATM fees AND the other bank's ATM fees ($15 for one transaction that was not made at a TCF location). They charge me extra for almost everything that requires their services even access to my FREE checking account. Their website is horrific and hardly understandable, NOT USER FRIENDLY in the LEAST. Their branch location where I'm at, the ATM has been down (unuseable) at least twice and transactions I made late as a result were charged late fees or insuff funds fees were withdrawn. This bank is the stupidest bank I have ever done business with, and my happy a** is OUT. Spread the word!!
