LilBluSky's Full Review: Caesar's Palace 2000 for PlayStation 1
When I discovered the release of Caesar's Palace 2000, I was thrilled. I absolutely love Caesar's Palace II, and so I rushed right out to buy 2000. I was instantly disappointed, but I believe now only because I compared it to the last release and expected more from the programmers. I've played it maybe three times since purchasing it, and it doesn't hold my attention at all when I begin play. It is similar in the respect of the menu layout, and it easy to navigate. The graphics, in my opinion, aren't as good as the previous versions. It just didn't have the "gambling feel" that Caesar's Palace II had to it. It does have some positive points to it. The dealers are harder to beat, which does make it more challenging, and the game loads faster than the earlier ones. It does offer more games besides the traditional BlackJack, Roulette, Craps, and Video Poker: Poker Challenge, Pai-Gow Poker, Video Keno, Mini-Baccarat, Red Dog, War, and Spanish 21 as well as new slots. The game play goes by the official Caesar's Palace Rules and the Tutorial is tailored to your abilities. This Millennium Edition also comes with a Caesar's Palace Guide To Gaming Handbook. If you have previously played Caesar's Palace II, you shouldn't look at this game as a better version, but only as getting casino games that no other game offers, and at a decent price. Not recommended for those with short attention spans.
