Pros: The guys that did the trucking move were honest.
Cons: about everything you could imagine..hard to explain to my little girl about her bank.
The Bottom Line: Don't use Bekins..their packers stole us blind, and the company is worthless after the move.

My little 5 year old had her a little piggy bank she had worked so hard for during the summer selling Kool Aid and helping the after school sitter bake cookies. She had about 50.00 saved. The packer stole the big bills and left the change in her bank.
I must, however, compliment the Bekins packers on their through knowledge of knowing what "good stuff" to steal..rest assured they don't steal your cheap stuff. They're throughly trained in knowing gold picture frames and rifling through your closets in search of gold watches and any values easily fenced. They're especially adept at identifying objects of sentimental value (to you of course) and removing them without your knowledge long after the move..when you say to your spouse "whatever happened to...." Ironically, they're based in of all places Chicago. And, I can tell you that you'll never see your stuff again, especially after they launch one of their "bogus investigations" which consistently turn up "no wrongdoing" on the part or their slimy local agents or the packers. The lady I spoke with in Chicago said it best.."hey, we can't be responsible for knowing whether the people we hire are criminals." The police told us this is the most difficult of all crimes to prosecute or find evidence." If you do decide to do business with them I'd recommend several "armed guards" watching their every move and a mandatory search at the end of the day.
