Pros: Small, Lightweight, Good Sound, Good FM Reception, Cheap
Cons: Small non-expandable memory.
Feels a little cheap, time will tell.
The Bottom Line: Buy one...
For under $40 it's hard to beat!

| ebrenton's Full Review: iRiver iFP-180T (128 MB) MP3 Player |
I'd been wanting an MP3/WMA player for quite a while. When I saw the price for this little guy drop to $39 on ecost.com, I could not resist. I needed something with a radio for watching the TVs at the gym and the 180T did not let me down. I've read reviews of other MP3 players with built in tuners on this site and heard many a horror story, but the FM reception on the iriver is VERY good. The sound quality is very good too. My only gripe is that I thought I would be able to fit more songs on it. I'm now wishing I had something with an expandable memory slot.
The player has plenty of options to keep the geek in me happy. The controls are a little awkward, but I guess it's not easy to fit so many options into such a small package with such limited space. The main switch/button on the front also seems a little flimsy. I'm a little worried about how long it will last. Only time will tell.
Overall, I am very happy... (initially anyway).
I ended up giving this one to my wife for a gift, and I plan to buy another one when the price drops another $10.
