| xldu's Full Review: Luxe Hotel Sunset Blvd Bel Air |
The Luxe hotel located in a secluded Bel-Air neighborhood. Just off the Sunset exit on 405 and below the Getty Museum.
From the moment of your arrival valet service is present to greet you and assist you with your needs. The staff is courteous and overly accomodating.
There is a parking fee for overnight guests. Additionally, valet service is required and not an option as parking space is limited. This can cause some inconvenience but the staff is always willing to assist.
Shuttle service is available via golf cart if your room is located up the hill and away from the lobby where the restaurant and bar is located.
Rooms are beautifully decorated in a contemporary modern design. It is amazingly quiet and peaceful in the rooms and around the premise despite being located just a hundred of yards away from the busiest freeways in California.
In room service is exceptional as response is made in a timely manner. There is free Wi-Fi for those who have their own laptops.
Additionally, the Luxe is a pet friendly hotel, so call for more information.
Great location as it is a couple of miles away from the UCLA campus and not more than 30 minute drive from the Sunset strip.
My stay was during the 2006 Emmy weekend. An extremely busy weekend in LA as hotels of this caliber were no longer vacant. The staff at the Luxe did an excellent job in accomodating all of our needs and requests.
