The Tides: ...
The words I am about to use to describe this slice of Heaven is only a portion of the true experience.
South Beach itself is a world away from my friendly confines that is Boston. The unforgettable experience provided by this corner of the US, would have certainly not been the same, had I not stayed at The Tides.
And now about The Tides: ...
We pulled into the valet zone that sits directly in front of the hotel, spacious enough for three cars. We were greeted by their wonderfully dressed and courteous personnel. As we made into The Tides, the entrance itself was just amazing. White couches and seats that look good enough to sleep in or just read the newspaper on a Sunday morning adorn the full marble floor. Real plants and fresh fruit everywhere.
We made it into our room. Our guide opened the door, and the sun was shinning almost directly above us, but coming in from the beach. Great soothing music was playing in the background. A fresh bowl of fruit was awaiting us on top of a table. Room temperature was wonderful. The view of the beach was superb. I think all the rooms have ocean view...
The Tides is conveniently located near all landmarks around South Beach. It is all within easy walking distance, and our car sat in their parking lot the whole vacation. Live music surrounds the area during morning, noon, and night.
If you can afford to stay here, you should experience South Beach the way it really was meant to be.
Because of the price tag per night, you should only stay at The Tides if you really can afford it!
Note: Don't plan your South Beach vacation over Labour Day weekend!
