Pros: Joan's voice, the guitar, the lyrics

Cons: if you don't like country, or if you're feeling too blue... better avoid it.

I've been listening to Joan Baez since I was a kid. I must say I absolutely love this album - the songs are simple, no frills, and they send shivers down my spine.

Joan Baez has one of the most marvellous voices I have ever heard - and minimal music arrangement around it can only do her justice.

The song which is by far my favourite is Sweet Sir Galahad. It makes me feel like crying and bursting out with joy at the same time.
Long Black Veil is also another of these love stories - the lover who will face death rather than bring in the open his affair with his best friend's wife.

I could go on like this about each song, but the best thing to do is simply listen to it. Most of the songs are at the same time sad, but filled with life and love and hope.

A must.
