ArianeSeifert's Full Review: Voice of an Angel by Charlotte Church
This album is spectacular. I first saw Charlotte Church last month on public television, and the next day, I went out and bought all of her CD's.
Her voice is addicting. It is so beautiful, I'd have to agree that she does have the voice of an angel (or the voice of what an angel would sound like). Her voice is crisp, clear, calming and soothing. Feeling stressed? Get out the Charlotte Church music!
Want to go back to a different time? Want to sit around and daydream? Get out the Charlotte Church CDs! Her music takes you out of your day, out of this society, out of this world, and puts you in another place and time-- a much better one. I could listen to her angelic voice all day, every day.
The song choices are also wonderful. No worrying about whether the kids can listen to this music. Church sings only the classiest of songs, some of which are wonderfully loved songs that she has put her own spin on. A truly amazing version of "Amazing Grace," a captivating version of "Ave Maria," and a beautifully sung version of the old "Danny Boy" are included on this CD, among numerous other wonderful songs. You'll never listen to those same loved songs again the same way! Church has redone them better than they were ever done, if you ask me, like she was meant to sing them.
Want to feel in touch with God? Want to memorize some scripture? Then my favorite song on the CD, Psalm 23, is a top choice for you to listen to!! I love this piece, it's so beautiful, it sounds as if Church was meant to sing the Bible! And what an easy way to memorize scripture. Yes, Psalm 23 the song really is just plainly Psalm 23 RIGHT out of the Bible (depending on your version, I believe she may sing the King James version).
Don't wait- go out and buy this CD!
