| starsweet's Full Review: Fear of Fours by Lamb |
Lamb uses subtle beats and a wavering voice to transport the listener to a rhythmic world of that similar to Portishead. The lyrics are drawn-out and one can get lost in them, but upon closer listening, they are quite beautiful. The best way to listen to Fear of Fours is to put it on loud volume in a pair of headphones, and wander around dark hallways, or to sit at home in the dark in a soft chair with the volume on high on the stereo. It's the best stuff to listen to when stressed or sleepy. An odd combination of acoustics and electronics, Lamb will make you relax or wake up, depending on how you're feeling. Two thumbs up, five stars.
