This is the first album of Tori's I ever bought, and I don't regret it, that's for sure. I think you described everything that makes it so great very nicely.

I was "this close" (picture me doing the finger thing) to reviewing this cd the other day, and then ended up talking myself out of it due to the amount of reviews it already had. perhaps I should reconsider?

agree with you Shelly, this is a masterpiece. Even though we may have different opinions on which songs are best, the opinion of the album is basically the same.
Excellent job, and I think your words does it justice :)

I really do. I TRY to like her music. I think I'm just missing something though that makes me not get whatever it is everyone else seems to love about her. She sure is nice to look at, though. Was that shallow? Who cares. Still, a great review, just as I've come to expect.

This is probably as good of a time as any to tell you how much I love your writing style and your selections, even if I do admit to not always knowing who the artist is lol I thought I had a diverse musical taste - you make me feel so mainstream :)
But Tori I do know/admire/appreciate her work and you review her stuff so well.
Anyway, excellent review as usual :)

I know, I know. But you see I don't go to concerts much to speak of. I tend to most enjoy rock concerts anyway (as strange as that might sound). Plus, in Metro Detroit it's near impossible to get decent tickets for anything. Kind of frustrating...I've given up on the whole experience :)

If you consider this disc a masterpiece, imagine the same effect ten times over, and much more personal. That's what you get at a Tori gig. But that's just me. :)
