ALWAYS, the story of a pilot who loses her long time boyfriend in an airplane accident, is heartwarming and thoughtful. Holly Hunter, as usual, does a magnificent job as the forlorn female pilot trying to cope with the death of her boyfriend, portrayed by Richard Dreyfuss, who is also wonderful. For a little comic relief, John Goodman does his usual fine comedic job as Holly Hunter's pilot friend.
Saturated with romance, wit, and warmth, this film tugs at the preverbial heart strings, while also bringing a smile to your face. Holly Hunter and Richard Dreyfuss are the perfect couple...allbeit one of them is dead! You will laugh, cry, and cheer for the characters as they all deal with the situation in their own ways.
I would recommend this movie to anyone who likes a good romance-comedy, and to those who do not...you will enjoy it too!
