This movie makes your spine tingle!! And your hair on the back of your neck stand on end... They also at the same time keep you in stitches. I love a good old B-horror film. They don't make 'em like they use to that's for sure.
American Gothic I have to say is one of my all-time favorites. I love to pull out my copy on video on a rainy night and just sit back with some popcorn and watch it.
The film takes us back to a deserted Island off the coast of Seattle. Three Young couples have become stranded. It seems there charter plane has suffered engine failure; while in-route to a second honeymoon.
The conflict erupts when they meet up with a very eccentric family. A family with a taste for murder.
The movie carries the right mix of gore, Thrills, and horror. American Gothic should not be passed up if you like Scream and Texas chainsaw massacre. I do not recommend it to anyone under the age of 13.
