Dear Dragonfire88: The original, as you no doubt know, was a little B- sleeper with Edmund O'Brien, which was soon recognized as a groundbreaker.
Quaid enhances any film he's in. I hope, after FAR FROM HEAVEN, he begins to be offered good properties.

This was a good movie. It is more serious than InnerSpace was, but it was good too.

You've never even heard of this one? You should see it sometime. You should be able to find it on video to rent sometime. It does show up on tv every so often too. I think it was on TNT the last time I saw it.

Your new movie review was the second one I read today. It turned up on the just in list after I read a review...so of course I had to go read it right then. :)
I was able to post a review today because I actually had a day off...first one in almost 3 weeks. Thankfully work is starting to slow back down some so I can start to get caught up here again.
I think I first saw D.O.A. in either 89 or 90. I liked it then, and I still like it now. I'm sure I'll be getting the DVD once it gets released on DVD. I also really liked InnerSpace and The Big Easy. I think The Big Easy was the first movie with Quiad in it that I saw. I have that one around here somewhere on video. I'll have to watch it again someday. It's been a while since I've seen that one too.
