You have nicely captured the appeal of Marilyn Monroe..she was not the epitome of anorexic starvation like so many actresses of today..she was curvaceous, soft, breathlessly sexy, and any man who saw her films was captivated and drawn to her. In addition, she was an excellent actress, because the way we saw her, was not her own self-image...she didn't think she was pretty at all. Thanks for a wonderful review

I don't want to go all Elton John here, but she was one hell of a fine actress and beautiful woman. I always enjoy watching her films.
A&E, the middle-brow arts channel, is showing a 2-hour biography of Monroe tonight and I am going to go watch it in about 20 minutes. It will be fun to watch all the clips from her films.
Seven Year Itch trivia: Monroe was not happy with how much of her showed through her panties in the subway-grate scene and insisted on wearing two pair.

... as usual. Great job reviewing a classic movie. Although Marilyn did other and better films, this was the high spot in Tom Ewell's career. Thanks for the memories.

maybe our morals have gotten so loose, we cannot appreciate implied sex anymore...too bad, it was a great movie.
