In keeping with my standard (Reply to this comment)

practice of never seeing a movie that "you just have to see!!!!" I've never seen RHPS, not even at a midnight Saturday showing. I've never thrown toast, never been squirted with squirtguns, never...
(BTW, I've never seen "Fatal Attraction," "Dances with Roaches, er, Wolves," or any "Batman," either)
But -- as someone said -- I can see the attraction, and this spoof has been spoofed (what's that, spoofed to the second power) so many times, I thought I knew the entire plot. Turns out I did, but thanks for helping me to the ultimate conclusion.
And thanks for joining in the re-writeoff.

Yep... Looks Like You STUCK It, This Time! (Reply to this comment)

You really did it "justice" third-time 'round. As they say 'third time's the charm! (although, they also say 'three strikes, you're OUT!, too)
I remember this one like the back of my hand... and well I should. At the time it came out, what we call (unofficially) in the Dallas area "campy corridor" probably chiefly because of The Rocky Horror Picture... had weekly (Friday thru Sunday) showings, then revivals, then audience participation that seemed to me (but, I was a little young, then, and everything lasted long) to last for years.
Your review (this one) got just the right bead on the classic. Great job! And, great review! Enjoyed the memory (trip?)! Thanks,
Rouchelle

We all are/were virgins once (Reply to this comment)

Having walked out of a showing in San Diego where my brother ensured we were drenched and riced to the point of looking like hairsprayed Rice Crispy puffs I can sure relate. The movie itself is truly lacking worth but the experience with live performers in the theater makes for a moving experience and "right of passage" if you will.
Wonderful

This is weird and you're not going to believe me but I was actually listening to "Science Fiction Double Feature" when I came across your review. The music was a nice accompaniment to the reading. Great review. OOh.."Sweet Transvestite" is on now...gotta go!
Another Frankie fan,

of an experienced Epinioner!
I'll admit, I'm weird. I've never seen this movie. Always wanted to and never seemed to have the chance. I'm afraid I'm too old now. Also, I've hesitated to rent it, because I know it won't be the same experience as seeing it with an audience.
