Hey, I just loved your review.... Makes me want to watch it again. Lucky for me, I own this movie, and boy, what a tear jerker (Sorry I'm a woman, I have that right) =)

When I first saw this film, it was too soon after the deaths of my brother, his wife and my three baby nieces in a horrible, tragic house fire. I later forced myself to sit through it as a form of therapy and then realized that Backdraft was truly an excellent film.
Thanks for bringing back some memories.
