Well Done!!! (Reply to this comment)
by sibhreach
I love this movie and I was actually considering to write a review on it, myself - but I think yours will do for the both of us. :)
At University, I had a Shakespeare class and did a cross-analysis of this film with the actual text and how well the film handled time passing and other issues. I was very impressed with this adaptation and how true they stayed to the original, with wonderful cinematography.
Great job!

Excellent! You also get a nodding agreement with your comment on the elections. So very true!

See Any O.J. Tie-In? (Reply to this comment)
by RROYBLAKE
Reading your comment on Othello reminded me that at the time I first saw Fishburne's Othello, the OJ trial was still big news. In fact, I thought that the timing behind it was a bit suspicious but I don't think the box office was greatly affected. In fact, there are a lot of important differences between Othello and the OJ case but the similarities are there too and say a lot about how humans have changed little since the Bard's days.

... nice review (and I should know that as I read through it twice with regard to your comment of the names being spelled correctly, and they are). <: Makes me think I could use a little refresher on the tale of Othello.
