ckirksey's Full Review: Denise Austin - Power Kickboxing Workout
I purchased Denise Austins The Power of Kickboxing March of 2000. I have seen Denise Austin on TV for years and I've enjoyed her workouts before. I wanted a fun energetic kind of workout. The reason I picked Denise Austin is because she has had two children and looks fabulous. I myself have had one, she is now two in half. I was extremly frustrated with loosing my weight after having my baby. I worked out in a Gym for a year and lost 20 lbs. doing weight training and the cardio machines. I never could keep up with the others if I tried to take an aerobic class. I heard that aerobics was the best way to get back in shape and burn calories. So I purchased Denise Austin Power Kicking boxing workout tape for home use and ended my contract at the gym. I figured it would be easier and cheaper to do my excersize at home when I wanted to.
After a month of doing this video I saw great results. Denise explains that it takes 6 weeks to see results. This video is fun to work out to. This video consists of 2 20 min. workouts. The first is called skills. It explains the basics of kickboxing combined an aerobic workout. The first 20 min workout is to get you started. Once you feel you have mastered the skills part you have the option to move on to another workout called Drills. This workout includes all martial arts and boxing components. It targets major muscle groups and fat deposits. I found that to keep my work out interesting and fun I inter change the two. One day I do skills the next Drills. This way I work all different muscles instead on consentrating only on a few. I have made it to my weight goal of 125 lbs. using Denise Austins Power of Kickboxing. I enjoy it and I'm ready to move on to a more advanced workout.
