tommy_lop's Full Review: InuYasha - Special Limited Edition
Plot Details: This opinion reveals minor details about the movie''s plot.
A couple of weeks ago I noticed this at the store, and being a huge Inuyasha fan, and that they where only charging 40 dollars for this collectors disc. I thought it was a good deal and bought it, not because it was collectable (15,000 made according to the red slip), but because it was Inuyasha. The whole pack will probably be wrecked before it becomes worth anything, the outer cover is all ready torn up anyway.
This pack contains the first 3 volumes of Inuyasha (9 episodes in all), a desktop calendar, a poster, and a cover to keep it all in.
The cover.
The out side cover is a silver cardboard box that contains in the front a high raised bumps that have a tree shape pattern to them. In the middle are the words Inuyasha. Around the case is a red slip with details about the collectors edition. Inside is has pictures and scenes of Inuyasha.
The calendar.
Its a desktop calendar that is only released in this disc. I keep it in the case that it came in, inside the outside cover. The calendar comes in a red cover of its own, and has a fome holder around it. The calendar is also in a cd case. The idea is to take the little slips containing little pictures of scenes from Inuyasha and put them on the front of the case. This way you just change the little slip to the correct month in order to use. But I keep it in the case so I dont lose it I have a wall calendar so it doesnt really matter.
The cards.
There are two cards supposedly from some trading cards coming out, not a game just some fan stuff of Inuyasha. One of them has Inuyasha holding the tetseiga and the sacred jewel on the side of it. The next one has a height shape for all the good guys. Sesshomaru is somehow in there despite being a bad guy. They also have Miyoga the flea in there, but they have an arrow pointing to him since hes so small.
The box.
The box that contains the 3 DVDs is a clamshell box, the typical design that you get in 3 packs. The front of the box has Inuyasha holding the Tetseiga, with Kagome in the upper corner. The side has Kikyou in the jewel. In the back different scenes of the Inuyasha series plus an episode list. In the case besides the chapter list is also a dictionary featuring character information.

Down the well.
This one starts it all, Inuyasha gets pinned to the tree by Kikyou, we dont know the full details of this event till later. But the important stuff of like Inuyasha and the tree, and Kikyou dying holding the jewel are covered. In modern day Japan a girl named Kagome who strangely looks like Kikyou is dragged down a well by a demon and lands up in feudal Japan 50 years after the Inuyasha got pinned to the tree. She releases him to save her from the demon but she quickly finds out that Inuyasha has an attitude problem and wants the sacred jewel that came out of her body. Kayede, Kikyous sister puts a magical necklace on him so he falls down whenever Kagome says sit boy. In the 2nd episode Kagome shatters the sacred jewel and now her and Inuyasha must search for the fragments or else the earth is in danger. And in the 3rd Kagome finally finds a way home but with the demon Yura the hair after Inuyasha and her she wont be able to stay home for long.
A girl's best friend
Yura the hair story comes to a rather boring end has Inuyasha drags Kagome back down the well for an uninteresting battle with Yura. Then in the 2nd and 3rd episode revolves around Inuyashas evil brother Sesshomaru and his evil henchmen Jagen. In the cold-hearted way they use the memory of Inuyashas human mother to trick him into revealing the way to their fathers tomb where the Tetseiga is hidden. A blade that so powerful that it can kill 100 demons in a single swing.
Fathers and Sons
The first one concludes the Tetseiga arc has Inuyasha gets the Testseiga. While he cant figure out how to unlock its power but when he promises to protect Kagome from Sesshomaru it transforms into a fang, which he uses to cut off Sesshoamarus hand. The next episode has Inuyasha helping a clumsy samurai named Nobunaga rescue a princess from an evil toad demon. Its a filler episode but its really funny. And finally the last episode in the 3 pack has Inuyasha meeting Shippo a young fox demon who is out to avenge his father. But the thunder brothers hes after are really strong and when Shippos trick gets Kagome captured by them hell have to relay on Inuyashas strength to help avenge dad and rescue Kagome.
Final recommendation.
The 3 pack contains 8 great episodes of Inuyasha (the 4th episode really sucks though) and if youre an Inuyasha fan then this is a great gift. If your not an Inuyasha fan then get some help and buy this anyway.
