| jopurich's Full Review: Alize Wild Passion |
If you're like me and don't like the taste of alcohol, but would love to have that warm tingly and light feeling associated with it, then Alize is your drink! It's a flavored brandy with about 16% alcohol and comes in two delicious flavors- Passion Fruit (Yellow one) and the Red Passion, both tantalizing the taste buds. I prefer the Red Passion if I had to choose.
The liquer can either be mixed with something else or drunken on it's on. Usually I like to mix it with something else. For example on New Year's Eve someone brought some bad champagne over and everyone was trying to drink it down so I took it out the Red Passion Alize, poured some in everybody's cup of champagne and all of a sudden, it became good and alcohol was saved! :) Yeah I know I'm a lush...
But seriously, Alize is very good but unfortunately very expensive. A big bottle ran me about $17! And it was gone in less than an hour! Damn moochers...
Besides mixing it with other alcohols, I've mixed it in with other juices which tasted really good and gives you less of a buzz (and hangover). Yes Alize is very strong! I got trashed on 2 straight glasses of it! But some good juices I've mixed it with are:
orange juice (very classic, a twist on the screw driver)
grapefruit (gives it a bit of a tart taste, almost like a Seabreeze)
mango (enhances the passion taste even more, I like this one the best!)
peach kiwi (also very good and passionate!)
I usually use Ocean Spray juices but tropicana would probably be just as good.
Enjoy everyone!
