This motherboard is simply the bomb! I have built approximately four computers all housing this mainboard. Each system is currently operational and offers outstanding performance! This motherboard is arguably the best bang for your buck and the best I have worked with. The Deluxe flavor offers a multitude of options of which, the FireWire capability is one of the most noteworthy.
This board has tremendous overclocking capabilities and operates rock solid. This motherboard will save you money if you purchase a lower clocked processor and overclock it thanks to the unique NVIDIA nForce2 chipset. This chipset will unlock the AMD Barton core processor, allowing you to operate your budget priced PC at premium performance levels. I have been running an AMD Barton 2500+ overclocked to 3200+ configuration in all four rigs I had built for more then a year!
The onboard sound is outstanding and the other options with the Deluxe version offer versatility. The two integrated network interface cards allow for this motherboard to be used in a variety of configurations such as the role of a dual-homed router. AGP 8X and dual channel DDR capability could potentially make this board the heart of screamer gaming rig.
