Ideal for powering a sub system

Pros: Clean sound, 800 watts X 1 @ 4 Ohms, 2-channel if desired, Stylish.
Cons: Can't power subs @ 2 Ohms, Takes a lot of juice from your battery.
The Bottom Line: Perfect amp to power a subwoofer system with 800 watts of clean power.

I bought this amp planning to bridge it to power two subs. It has done very well and cranks out 800 watts at 4 ohms. It is not 2 ohms stable at all and I almost cooked it trying to do 1600 watts @ 2 ohms. However, 4 ohms is more musical than just loud and 800 watts is really good for only $200 which is the biggest factor that makes this amp so good.
Other features that are nice is the low/high pass built in crossover, bass boost, and the bass boost plug in. The low/high pass crossover works very nicely eliminating the highs so only the lows get to your subs which makes them sound very clean. The bass boost on the unit itself is nice but buying the optional bass boost remote for $20 is very convenient and helpful. You can wire it right to your dash so you can turn up and down your subs from the driver seat.
Although very good powering in mono @ 800 watts, this can also do stereo also. You could hook up your rear speakers and lightening the load on your head unit amp or buy two of these amps and power both front and back @ 200 X 4. This amp would work well in stereo but bridging it to power a sub system is a great way to get every bang out of your buck. I highly recommend this amp for anyone looking to power a set of subs (@ 4 ohms).
Only things I can say bad about it... 1. it can't power subs at 2 ohms 2. the chrome on it get's fingerprints very easy 3. takes a lot of power from your car (if you have a smaller car I suggest getting a capacitor to go with this to keep your lights from dimming.)
