| memaw's Full Review: Dell Dimension 4600C (D46CRM) PC Desktop |
In July of 2003 my husband bought me the Dell 4600C PC Desktop as I enjoy doing many reward program online. I was a little hesitant as I have always heard horror stories on Dell's. After recieving the computer and hooking it up to our telephone, I at first was a little upset because it was slow, but my husband said to wait as we were getting our Road Runner hooked up the following day and not to jump to conclusions. Well once the Road Runner was hooked boy was I impressed this Dell just took off on me.
It has 512 MB of RAM, Intel Pentium 4, 2.8 Processor, 120 GB Hard, CD-RW/DVD Drive and a 19" Flat Screen Monitor; it also came with 2 speakers and a subwoofer. It came with Microsoft XP Home, McAfee Virus, 6 months of free internet service, a Dell AIO Printer A940 which is a printer, scanner and copier all in one and is of excellent quality.
The only downfall is that he he purchased this through his employment and it is a little bit more costly than buying it outright, but on the other hand it is nice as instead of us having to make the payment ourselves his employer automatically debits it from his pay and pays it for him.
We have not had any problem with the computer since July, and I do not anticipate any problems with it.
We would definitely buy another Dell now that we know how reliable they are.
