| gamblinfever's Full Review: Dell Latitude⢠C400 PC Notebook |
Perfect sized notebook PC for surfing the net in front of the TV set. While watching the NBA Finals - Need Wilt's total points scored? How about who played the 'Bad', in "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly"? Easily and quickly access nba.com and imdb.com to answer these two questions. An absolute perfect companion to TIVO, so you'll never have to wonder who that certain co-star was in that episode of MASH, or who the voice was in that episode of the Simpsons. (You'll need a wireless internet system of course). The downside is this baby pumps out some serious heat; it's great in the winter time, but uncomfortable in the summer. The excess heat shortens the life of the unit. Also, not good for us males who prolongedly rest it on our laps. As far as the CD and floppy drives, I access these disks through my desktop PCs, so this not an issue for me. Dell's Tech Support is second to none.
