Pros: Easy to use. Excellent pictures. Flexibility with EF lenses.
Cons: It doesn't fit in my pocket. Really, no cons that I can see.
The Bottom Line: Would definitely recommend this camera for anyone who wants an SLR and isn't satisfied with the non-SLR cameras. It takes great pictures and is relatively easy to use.

| kymnichols's Full Review: Canon EOS-10D Digital Camera |
When I started looking for a digital camera, I really wanted a Canon SLR so I could use my EOS EF lenses. Unfortunately, the price of the D-60 was too steep and no one had the camera anyway. I started looking at the Nikon 5700, but never could get satisfied with the slow auto focus. All of the other non-SLR cameras just didn't have what I wanted.
Then, Canon introduced the 10-D. I looked everywhere to find one and ended up at my local camera shop and lucked out in getting in line for one. The price was as good as the internet prices and I got one of the first ones.
I was not disappointed. The camera works great. The auto focus is faster and more accurate than my film EOS. It is easy to work through the menus. The fully automatic mode is great. The picture quality is as good as I have seen. The video connection to the TV is convenient and the display is great. I have not seen a downside to the 10-D, except that it doesn't fit in my pocket. That is the sacrifice you make to have an SLR that is fantastic.
The body feels good in my have and seems durable. It seems lighter than my EOS film version.
