The Bottom Line: This camera is simple to use, has a host of features and takes superb photo's. For beginners and the experienced it is a great buy at a great price.

I needed to upgrade my digital camera which I use for promotional shots for my business and day to day use for family photos etc. I chose the Minolta F200 as I considered it to be packed with features at a great price. I have owned the camera for over 2 months now and am delighted with my purchase. I have found it impossible to take a bad photograph with this camera. The picture quality is astounding and shows no loss of clarity even at A4 size. The camera boasts an excellent choice of manual control but the automatic settings work brilliantly and I have felt no need to play around as yet. The camera is user friendly and even the most inexperienced photographer should be ready to go after 15 minutes reading the manual. It is difficult to say anything negative about this camera but if you are a perfectionist you may find the start up a little slow. As with all digital cameras battery drain can be quick when using standard AA alkalines but this is easily rectified using quality rechargeables. For the majority of users shutter lag will be acceptable but if you are a professional looking for super fast speed look elsewhere. If you judge a camera by the end result - a quality photograph, then look no further.
