Pros: Great price. Good capacity.
Cons: Weird look. Cheap and nasty plastic.
The Bottom Line: Don't buy it. I had four faulty units. Maybe I was just "lucky". Maybe I'll buy a lottery ticket I was so "lucky".

| rodh64's Full Review: e.Digital Treo 15 MP3 Player |
I wanted to archive my vinyl and went looking at mp3 players. The Treo capacity and price was very attractive and I got one. The software was fine: did what it had to with no drama. The firmware upgrade eDigital put out for the unit alleviated much of the initial quirkyness. The quality issues associated with chinese manufacture were apparent: weird looking, cheap plastic. Quickly I found the LCD screen was faulty: it would come on at startup then collapse to a single line or nothing at all. The player would still function but just no screen. Back it went. Short story: this happened with four consecutive units. I armtwisted eDigital into giving me credit toward an Odyssey 1000 and that is turning out to be another adventure in warranty-serviceland.
