Pros: Can't think of any
Cons: The turntable speed does not stay regular, making mixing very difficult.
The Bottom Line: If you are seriously considering buying these decks, then try them first. You'll soon realise their limitations and faults.

| peterpedro's Full Review: Gemini Sound Products PDT-6000 Turntable |
These decks suffer badly from "wow" and "flutter", in other words there are regular variations in the rotational speed of the turntable platter, essentially rendering these turntables completely unsuitable for the professional market. The master tempo control is totally useless, as the sound distorts really badly when it is used. It is a childish gimmick that would be more suited to a childs toy, than to a "professional" deck. Gemini should be ashamed of themselves for marketing this as their flagship deck. I owned these decks for one day, and thankfully managed to obtain a full refund. They are truly awful. From my own personal experience with this deck, I would strongly recommend that anyone who is considering buying this deck should try before they buy.
The PDT-6000s don't even come close to the quality of a Technics deck. I was really disappointed with this product, and hope that no-one else falls for the clever marketing strategy that I did. They are in my opinion one of the worst decks available on the market at the moment.
Any self-respecting professional DJ with an ounce of sense would not recommend these decks to anyone, unless they were on Gemini's payroll.
