The All-In-Wonder 9700 is PRETTY. From the moment you get the box you know it is something special. It comes with an amazing amount of video input and output connections and connectors. The TV-tuner documentation was a little scanty, especially since my drivers did not install correctly the first time. However, the documentation is really not needed if the driver installation goes correctly. The card comes with an amazing amount of features and additional software for your video viewing pleasure. The whole package is really top-notch.
Unfortunately, I happened to get a card that corrupts the display the first time the computer is powered up. Everything is fine once rebooted, but it may take anywhere from thirty seconds to five minutes before the problem appears and preemptively rebooting does not help. Furthermore, ATI recognizes this problem: INFO BASE# 4075. ATI had a pre-ship RMA policy in place, where you pay them to ship you a card and then they refund once you ship back the defective one. They discontinued that service and now expect you to send the card for repair without a loaner. I use my computer everyday and cannot afford to buy and return a replacement card while ATI repairs their defective product.
