The Bottom Line: Any product you buy for your computer is going to be outdated by the time you get it home. This is an excellent product, suited to just about any needs.

Wow. What a great card.
OK, the basics:
without getting into the detailed specs, suffice to say that this card has both VIDEO IN and VIDEO out function, both of which function perfectly. It comes bundled with Nvidia's Nview software, so setting up dual displays or TV OUT is a breeze. It also automatcally ull-screens video on whichever display you choose...in my case, secondary, since that's my TV...so watching movies is like having a DVD player. Also, it allows you to play full-screen video games on your TV, so it's a great alternative for people who don't want to run out and buy an X-box or PS2 (Especially now that Nintendo is beginning to phase out it's platforms, and is focussing on making games only.)
Sure, it's kind of expensive...$175 Canadian...but I say it's unbelievably worth it. It's a PHENOMENAL improvement over the GeForce 2 MX 400, my old card, and in my opinion, is superior the the GeForce 3 Ti. If you have the money, I would recommend the GeForce 4 Ti over this product, but at the same time, the difference is fairly nominal; certainly not worth the extra $120.
