Pros: Vastly superior in sound to any product anywhere near its price
Cons: Slightly uncomfortable earclips, high impedance (60 Ohm) design
The Bottom Line: Best choice for the money, hands down.

| marranca's Full Review: Koss KSC-50 Consumer Headphones |
I recently bought an MP3 player, and like many people, found it impossible to use the earbuds that came with it, especially at the gym.
After buying and returning three sets of headphones (including a $40 pair of Sony's), I purchased these Koss headphones for $19.99. They are VASTLY superior to anything else I tried.
It can be very difficult to read reviews and collect an objective view of headphones from them, so if it means anything, I found this Koss set to sound excellent with any kind of music - easy listening to techno to rock. The bass they put out is deep, but not overwhelming or heavy in a contrived (read: Sony-like) way, and they also have crisp highs.
Two notes: the 60 Ohm design of the Koss drivers means they are not going to get very loud if your player doesn't put out a lot of power. I was concerned about this, but it seems that they are passable - in the gym I do max my MP3 player's volume, however, and that's half just to drown out the ambient noise.
