Pros: Lightweight, great, amazing, awesome sound for $20 'phones, braided cord
Cons: rather loose, takes a while to get used to them
The Bottom Line: My initial dissapointment in these headphones has grown into really liking them. I plan on using them with my SlimX, and I am confident they will work quite well.

| josh7667's Full Review: Koss KSC-50 Consumer Headphones |
I have deleted my original review and plan to start anew. As stated in "cons" these phones do take a while to get used to. When I first tried them, for about an hour I hated them. I listened to them some more, and I have grown to like them alot more.
These 'phones have a design radically different than most. Insead of using a headband either over or behind the neck, or the in-the-ear style of earbuds, these have the cans of headphones witha headband, without the headband. For replacement, Koss implimented a rubber coated wire which runs behind your ears, the wire is bendable alowing you to fine tune the fit. The "mounting piece" for lack of a better phrase, is attached to the cans via a pivot, allowing for easier putting on of and taking off of :)
The KSC50's are also much smaller than you would think, even being told they are small. They are powered through a braided cord, which is resistant to tangling, and durable, also not much larger in diameter than a standard rubber cord. It is 4 feet long and branches off to each headphone.
The sound on these puppies is astounding, especially considering the paltry 20 dollar price mark. After a few hours of break in, the KSC 50's are crisp and clear through all ranges, with only a slight fall in the mids, although this is barely noticable. Bass is also incredibly strong for such small headphones.
The only problem I now have with the "Sportclips", as Koss calls them, is they are still somewhat loose. They will wiggle around as you walk, and are not as close to your ear as they could/should be as they "hang" from the top of your ear. For sitting and listening, this is fine, but these probably aren't the best choice for active listening.
