I purchased a Hewlett Packard computer in November 1999. Since the computer didn't come with a printer I had to decide which one was best. I looked in every local store to see what my options were. I couldn't decide so I went to HP's website and start looking.
The HP PSC 500 caught my eye because it had a printer, scanner, and copier all in one. At that time I had a home business and I needed all three features but could not afford a separate printer, scanner, and copier. I decided to order it. It was only $399 and I got free shipping. It appeared at my door two days later.
I was so excited when it arrived. My husband bought it in and we started hooking it up. It was very easy to hook up.
Features:
Copier
Makes super clear color or black and white copies. You can enlarge or enlarge.
Scanner
Scanner is only a 30 bit scanner, but scans great. I use this feature all the time to scan pictures for my Ebay auctions.
Printer
The printer is compared to about the HP 700 series inkjet printer. It makes top quality copies in either black and white or color. It hardly ever jams. It takes an HP color and black and white cartridge.
I am so glad I made the decision to buy the HP PSC 500 All in One. It has come in handy for my home business and for our personal needs.
